The History Of Hurst Hemi Under Glass
The HIstory Of Hurst Hemi Under Glass
It started in 1965 about taking a '65 Barracuda andputting a 426 C.I.D.Hemi that was fuel injected in the rear.
The car was a success, and one was made for'66' 67,'68,
and also '69.The 1965 and 1968,seems to be missing today.
In fact the rear 1968 car ,was a multi-colored with green.
It had Hurst Hemi Under Glass too. But also the one of the
1968 gold car with the big Hurst on the side is missing.
Linda Vaughn was Miss Hurst Shifter. She's a beauty.
They had both fuel injected and blown towards the later
in years.
The idea all stated with a 1965 Plymouth rear bubble
with a simple drawing. Could they stuff a 426 Hemi CID
to make a wheel stander for the public to enjoy in the
rear of this car with two four barrel carburetors and two
velocity stacks and be standing a quarter mile?
